Not really sure how many times we have been to this – I am thinking this was our 4th time. Each year, Chad likes it more and more and it is kind of interesting to see how he changes every year. For example, last year, I remember him being very anxious in lines and not wanting to wait. This year, he was much better and even kept telling younger kids that you have to be patient and wait your turn in line! Annabel also had a good time. She loves just walking around and looking at everything.
The highlight this year was the helicopter. This was the 1st year for the helicopter – we had never seen one before. Chad wanted to go up and drive it but had to settle for just looking around the back. But, he did ask to speak to the pilot and had numerous questions for him including how you started it, how you made it go, and he made the pilot explain what every part on the helicopter was. I actually think the pilot was pretty impressed – most kids just got on and left and didn’t ask any questions.
