Chad's Stats:
17 lbs. 1 ounce
26 1/2 inches long
Overall 50 percentile -- Craig says our kid is "dead average." But, as the pediatrician pointed out, when Chad was born, he was not even measuring on the chart so what an improvement to be in the 50th percentile!
Everything else looks great. The doctor says he is as pretty as a girl. I asked about him not being sick -- knock on wood we have literally not had one "sick" pediatrician visit. She said that is because he is not in daycare but not worry his immune system is still doing its thing even though he has not been sick.
We also discussed Chad's "Mommy" issues. She said that Dad is just going to have to take a more active role in taking care of him. No matter how much he has been doing he is going to have to do more. She also gave us some suggestions on how to get him to sleep in his crib. Craig and I both agree that sleeping has not been our issue but we are going to try her suggestions anyway.
Chad got 3 more shots today but no more until his 12 month appointment. He is a trooper when it comes to the shots and just cries a little and then gets over it. I gave him some Motrin tonight to help with the pain in his little legs.
So, long story short, we have a healthy 6 month old!
