A few weeks ago Chad came to us and told us he wanted to play baseball. (For his age, it is t-ball.) He has never come to us and told us he wanted to play something. We always make the suggestions. So, even though he is already in karate (and still loves that) we thought we should honor his request to at least try tball.
And, so far he loves it! We signed him up for a “clinic” before we signed him up for a team since he has never really played before. But now, he is on a team with real coaches and real practice! His coach is Coach Chuck. And, he seems to like it. It is also a good parenting opportunity for us because we are having to “coach” him about how you act on a team. Even though other kids are joking around tball practice is not a time to joke around. Lead by example, etc. etc.
