Disney - Part 1

We are half way through our Disney trip so I decided that I should blog while I have a free moment. Yes, believe it or not, I have a free moment at Disney! This trip, we stayed at a hotel on the monorail system. So, it makes it easier to come back and nap - and that makes for a much happier Chad, Mommy and Daddy. Although, as you will see, we are certainly not opposed to a good nap in the stroller.

Let me just say that we are having an amazing time! Everyone told us that Chad would never remember this trip and everyone is probably right. But, we will never forget this trip and the way his face lights up when he sees a character! Not afraid at all! He loves them all. We have been reading about these characters and seeing them in books and they are in real life for him now. It is so much fun. He loves all the rides too! He doesn't mind the dark and looks and points. So far, his favorite ride is Small World. That was my favorite ride as a child as well! Long story short - if you have the opportunity to take your kid to Disney - do it. Do it at any age. It is so much fun and there is stuff for kids of all ages -- and invite us! We are still here and are already ready to come back.

Day 1: We got here around noon. We checked in, had lunch at the hotel and then headed to Magic Kingdom since we could not get into our room until after 3:00pm.
