Every year, Christmas seems to get more and more fun. As a child, you thought it could not get any better, but it does. When you have your own children, it is a lot more fun. It is certainly better to give than receive.
We spent Christmas in Ponder. All of the Hubbard and Chadwick family were there. But, all of the days activities revolved around little Chad. Everyone loved watching him open his presents and play and the excitement in his face.
Here are some photos taken on Christmas Eve – we were all dressed up for church.
And stockings were hung on the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

Dear Santa – I have been good, I promise – don’t listen to a word Mommy says.
Chad says, “Good Night Grandma Joan – see you in the morning!”
Then, the morning finally came, Santa had come and it was time to open presents!

No, Chad was not the only person that got gifts on Christmas Day!
And, last but not least, it would not be a trip to Ponder without feeding the horses and donkeys.
