Annabel had to go for a routine check up with her allergy doctor which is in the med center. Annabel has never been to the zoo so I thought since we were literally a block from the zoo I should probably take her – you know, to do my parental duty and all. Truth be known, I am not a big fan of the zoo. I am not really sure why – could be the smell, the crowds, the Texas heat – who knows. But, it turned out to be a fairly nice day (as far as August days in Houston go) and there was hardly anyone there since school was in session.
Annabel had a great time. There were things I thought she might be scared of (feeding giraffes, petting zoo, etc.) but she wasn’t at all! We had a great time!
