Seems like there has been many, many, many posts named this and I have lost count! These two are quite the team. I think they look at each other and say, “You complete me.” Ma wanted to take Chad home with her on Monday after his birthday so we said OK. She knows his schedule inside and out, what makes him happy, what doesn’t. She is literally an extension of me – I have no worries! Monday was his birthday so they started out with lunch at Red Lobster where they sang Happy Birthday to him.
And of course Ma and P were on Sproutie duty for the week. We are so thankful for his magical powers and that he was thankful to find Ponder.
Chad had a great time playing Spiderman with the neighbor kid Austin:
P read to Chad every night but Chad often did not make it through the first story before falling asleep:
Chad and P took a tour of Texas Motor Speedway and got some loot – a car, a hat and a sweatshirt.
Then, the big adventure for the week was the Polar Express which Chad specifically said was NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK! (But, he had fun nonetheless.)
Then, Ma and P went to Bass Pro Shops for some target shooting:
