Craig and I had to go to a conference in Denver this week so while we were away, Ma and GG came in to watch the dependents. It is just a shame that the kids miss us so much while we are gone – they can barely function! HA – NOT!!! For the past 3 days, the children have been spoiled beyond recognition and have probably been happier than they have ever been with the constant attention. On Wednesday, Chad got taken to Toys R Us for a new toy, on Thursday he got taken to the mall for activities and he and Ma had lunch and then on Friday…well, on Friday he got taken to urgent care for stuffing a toy up his nose.
But, Ma did reward the bad behavior by stopping at McDonald’s for a treat and playtime. Then, I got a text from Ma that said, “When Ma is in charge, this is what the kids get to do right after it rains.”
At least she taught Chad a good skill while she was here – cooking:

Good bye to Ma’s travel waterbottle – apparently Chad took a little spill on the sidewalk and it feel in the waterway.
We are so thankful for Ma and GG and happy that they enjoy spending time with our children. We are literally able to leave for conferences such as this with no worries at all. We know everything is going to be well taken care of while we are gone! And, it goes without saying how much the children enjoy it.
