Craig is in Baltimore this weekend for the Texans playoff game (they lost) so my Mom and Grandma came down to visit with us and help me out with the kids. It is certainly easier having the extra sets of hands around to help with the kids. They left after church this morning so I will be on my own until 10:00pm tomorrow.
Speaking of church, it was one of my goals for 2012 to get Chad involved in a Sunday school class. We decided to go to the Lutheran church in The Woodlands where both kids were Baptized. The Sunday School classes start at 3 so Chad was now eligible. Before this time, he was just able to go to the nursery which I didn’t want.
So anyway, this was our second week at church. Chad seems to like the Sunday school class. His teachers are Miss Kathy and Miss Melissa. No tears when I drop him off – he just asks about 50 times, “Are you coming back?” The first week the teachers told me he was very concerned about me coming back to get him. This week, Miss Kathy said he did great. When we picked him up he was happily having a snack at the table with the rest of the children…actually sitting still in his chair!!! (As opposed to climbing on it or knocking it down!)
We all managed to get ready for church on time this morning and had a few spare moments for pictures!
