Our week in review

On Monday, Craig and Chad ventured down to the Houston Aquarium – Annabel and I stayed behind and did something fun like go to the grocery store – I really can’t remember what we did! Chad had never been to the aquarium before and he had a great time.  Craig said it is for sure on our regular rotation list now.  And, the good news is that we can usually find buy 1 get 1 free coupons so that is a plus!

On Tuesday we had Gymboree and then went to visit our baker about Chad’s birthday cake and Annabel’s baptism cake.  This is our last month of Gymboree for Chad as the program ends when the children are 3.  We have had such a good time at Gymboree the past 3 years – we are sad to see it end but plan to start taking Annabel when she turns 6 months old.

On Wednesday we went to the park and played with our friends.  It was such a beautiful day – cool but warm in the sun.

On Thursday Chad went for his 3 year photo session.  Where does the time go?

And, the big finale on Friday was Yo Gabba Gabba Live show. Chad (Ok – and us) had a great time!  We went last year too and had a good time but this year Chad really understood what was going on and paid attention.  He tried to do everything they were doing on stage and when one character would leave the stage he would ask me, “Where did SO AND SO go?”  I had to explain to him that they would be back.  He had a great time!  Craig asked me if we would take him again next year and we will just have to wait and see.  It might be something new on the radar screen at that time.

This next week proves to be a busy week as well.  Allison and Craig already have a ton of work on their schedules and typically the first week of the month is their busiest time along with Storytime at the church, gymboree, Santa pics, a neighborhood progressive party and 2 birthday parties.

Don’t even mention the week after that or the week after that or the week after that because it just gets busier and busier!  If you need something from me, I can probably pencil you in the first week of January.
