Annabel’s birthday was on September 13 and her party was the same day! Craig and I went back and forth about what to do for her party. Annabel doesn’t really have any “friends.” Being the second child, all of her friends are the Chad’s friends who are girls or their siblings. At her school, she likes everyone but we have not become good friends with anyone the way we did with Chad. Again, poor second child.
We thought about taking 3 or 4 friends to American Girl and letting them shop. We thought of a bunch of different ideas. We finally decided on a local place called Tickled Pink Palace. They do tea parties for the girls along with make-up, nails, etc.
Well, I started making out the invitations only to realize that Annabel really does have friends!!! Everyone that we sent out an invitation to was able to come! Annabel was so excited and had a great time at her party!
But first….the week before she was able to celebrate with her class. Ma, P and GG were able to come for that celebration. And, typical Annabel, when the teacher asked her who her special guests were she replied, “I don’t know them.” Good ole Annabel!
Then, on Saturday, the REAL party!
