For weeks now, Chad has been begging to go to Ponder to see Ma! (He of course also wants to see P and GG but he knows MA lives in Ponder!) Craig and I just couldn’t go due to work so we agreed to let Chad go to Ponder for a couple of days all.by.himself!! And now, I am not sure he is going to want to come home! I know he has just been spoiled rotten! By spoiled rotten, I mean all the attention he could ever want from Ma and GG and we had not even left the gas station where we met and GG had already bought him 2 toys…SPOILED!!!!
Chad stayed 2 days – the first night he got there, he and the neighbor boy Austin (who is his best friend up there) talked P into putting a slip and slide in his yard. Look at these pictures – this is what 3 year olds are supposed to be doing during the summer!
Then the following morning they got up and went to the Denton water park!
On his last day there, they went to the library for story hour, went to Barnes and Noble to play and look at books, ate Mexican food, home for naps and then over to another friends house to swim.
Does this look like a child that is missing his parents? It didn’t hurt that Ma and P had 72 hot wheels shipped for their house! Who knows where you get 72 hot wheels – probably the same place you get 52 tubes of toothpaste but that is a different story…
