We had lots of field trips this week at the Allison Roderick Properties/Daycare Services center!
On Monday, we studied the culinary arts/socialization and dined out for lunch with Aunties Jennifer Scott and Angela Mize.
On Tuesday, we studied and learned all kinds of things (but mainly just re-learned how to put everything in Chad's mouth) at the Children's museum. He loves that place ever since we went the first time and it is now on our weekly agenda to go! We usually invite Chad's girlfriend from Gymboree, Adelaide, to go with us.
On Wednesday, we learned more about reading and rhymes. We went to the Mother Goose hour at the local library. This was our first time to go and Chad enjoyed it. All the mothers were sitting on the floor and Chad loved that because he could go from lap to lap and he gave every single one of those women hugs.
Thursday, of course, is Gymboree day. This week, we learned about different textures and how they feel as you crawl and walk over them. This week, the teacher commented that Chad wanted to teach the class because he kept getting up front of everyone. And, the minute we walked in there, he went for the parachute so she said he was already deciding it was parachute time.
Friday, we decided to study different cultures and went to eat to Chipotle for a burrito where all the people working there are Hispanic. Chad LOVES him some Mexican food.
Tomorrow is my birthday so I got to choose whatever I wanted to do. And, I wanted to go to the zoo as a family. We have never been and it sounds like fun. They have a children's zoo part where there is not only a petting zoo but places for the kids to crawl through exhibits, etc. I am really looking forward to it and it is going to be a beautiful day!
