Christmas 2009

Last year was technically Chad's first Christmas since he was born on December 17, 2008 but this year was his "REAL" first Christmas since we were able to buy him toys he would play with (although he mostly enjoyed the boxes the stuff came in), he showed interested in the wrapping paper (most of it went in his mouth), and he was able to interact with us more(wanted to help everyone else unwrap their presents). It was especially fun to show off his walking. Chad is pretty much exclusively walking everywhere!!!! He crawls very little anymore. It still surprises me and brings a smile to my face when I see him walk into a room rather than crawling!!!

We spent Christmas at Grandma Joan and Pappy's this year. Chad and I went up a few days early and spent a little extra time with my folks, my grandma, and my niece who was visiting from New Braunfels. It was fun to have some extra time and not be so rushed. Craig joined us on Christmas Eve - just in time for the snow!! It snowed and iced so much that we did not even make it to Christmas Eve church. We all just stayed in where it was warm and safe. So, Chad White's first "real" Christmas was a White Christmas! (Pun intended)
