A day in the life…

Some people have asked what a typical day is like in our house since Craig and I both work from home and we also keep Chad home.

So, for the inquiring minds, here is what my typical day looks like!

5:15am (sometimes earlier) – Allison wake up, shower, take dog out
5:35am – At desk working.
6:30am – Craig wakes up and showers
7:00am – Chad wakes up, he watches cartoons for a while, Allison dries hair, we have breakfast, get Chad dressed.
7:45am – 9:30am – Chad plays in his playroom (most of the time) and allows Allison to get some more work done at her desk.  Craig usually leaves around 9:30am.
9:30am – We usually leave the house for a playgroup outing.  This is what we have planned for this week:
Monday:  Bouncing Bears
Tuesday: Gymboree
Wednesday: Soccer Tots
Thursday: Northshore Park/Pappy, Grandma Joan and GG arrive
Friday: Nothing
Saturday: Friends birthday party
We are always home by noon, earlier if we are eating lunch at home, but as you know, we like to eat lunch out assuming the budget allows it.
12:30pm – Chad does down for nap – Allison back to work.
2:30 – 3:00pm – Chad wakes up. 
3:00 – 4:00pm – Allison and Chad play school.  We read books, work on numbers, letters, shapes and colors.  We use a curriculum called Mother Goose Playtime.
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Daddy takes over with Chad and allows Allison to work for another hour if needed.
5:00 – 7:00pm – Dinner, baths, play
7:00pm – Stories and Bedtime/Allison more work if needed.

You can be sure of one thing – there is never a dull moment in this house!
