Schlitterbahn

As many of you know, Doug and Melissa (Chad’s Aunt and Uncle on Craig’s side) work for Schlitterbahn. And, one perk of having relatives that run the park is that they can normally comp our tickets!! This is especially nice when you have a 16 month old because we can stay for 2-3 hours and not have to worry about getting our moneys worth. Oh, and it is fun being going around the park with big shots where all the lifeguards whisper, "Do you know who that is?"

So, on Sunday, we met Doug and Talon at the park and let the boys play with each other. They both had a great time. They are going to be little water boys.

Chad liked walking around in the water (although we plan to go later in the summer when the water is warmer), going down the slides and climbing through the tunnels. We took him on the lazy river ride where he sat in a tube but he did not care for that too much. But, all in all, a good time was had by all and we were all ready for bed when we got home!!!
