Looooong Update!

I just realized that it has been almost 2 weeks since we have posted a blog entry!! Guess time just flies when you are super busy and having fun!

Chad has continued to grow like a weed. It is hard to believe that our 9 month appointment with the doctor is on Friday. Only shot this time will be a flu shot. They will prick his finger to make sure he is getting enough iron. The way he is growing I can not imagine that he is deficient in anything!

This past weekend, my folks were in town. It was a good visit until everyone got sick!! A few weeks back, we had a virus going around our household. For about 24 hours we all had it coming out both ends. Well, despite cloroxing everything in my house, I think that nasty virus must have hung around. My Grandma got it first and then my mom. My step Dad Charles has managed to stay well and it has not made a second occurrence at our house either so that is good news.

We went back and forth as to whether to give Chad his first haircut. The sides of his hair was growing over his ears. He looked shaggy. But, everyone told us to not give him his first "official" haircut until he was a year old. So, while my mom was here, she gave Chad a little trim. The way Chad screamed you would have thought we were beating him!! Hopefully the "real" first haircut will go better than this!
